_Jeffrey L. Fox was born in Middletown, Ohio and currently lives in Taylor, Texas. He's married to Jamie Fox, and works at Lean Southern Systems, LLC, a lean six-sigma methodology consultation firm where he is founder and owner.

Jeffrey graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a MS in Theology, worked 12 years in pastoral church ministry, five years in manufacturing, and briefly in the wholesale nursery business. He considers himself to be a blue-collar worker, father, and family man, who wants to make Texas better by working to reduce the size of government, protecting Constitutional rights, protecting property rights, and eliminating waste in government.

Jeffrey served almost nine years to the date in the US Army (Jan 1985 - Jan 1994), with basic training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky, a tour at Ft. Hood, Texas with the 1/66th Armored Regiment, 2nd Armored Division, and then in Fulda, Germany with the 1/11th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the Fulda Army Community, then returning to Ft. Hood, where he was assigned to the III Corps
NCO Academy as an instructor.

Jeffrey's hobbies include spending time with his family, composing music, playing guitar, gardening, guns, enjoying his dogs, reading and writing poetry, and grilling food (over charcoal) for the family.
