I must say that giving millions away to countries that do not support us is ridiculous. We do not need to be giving aid away to countries that end up using that money in ways we can't verify--especially to track if it is being used for terrorist activities. We must simply start off without giving anyone any funds until they prove they want to be our allies and work with us. In working with us, they must understand that we have freedoms that they may not agree with, but, that's the breaks. I would say that to strip our freedoms away to get some country to take our money is treasonable.
If you want smaller government, elect me. I plan on slashing government to its proper role. I plan on seeing Texans that work keep more of their money. I plan on encouraging those that are not working to become a vital part of the community and give back in some means. It is simply not feasible for Texas to become a welfare state. Where will the money come from? It doesn't grow on trees. To keep printing money not worth anything means excessive inflation. That means you can't get as much for your dollar. We are in a real pickle here, and someone needs to clean this mess up.
The actions of Republican and Democrat administrations have brought all Americans--ALL--to the precipice of ruin. If the economy collapses, then the entire county will be thrust into utter chaos, and not even marshal law will be able to bring the country into order---think about it. Those trying to enforce marshal law will have as much to lose as everyone else, if not more.
I find it extremely upsetting that the folks the electorate put into office have literally betrayed most of us and our posterity. I am convinced that if the economic collapse and chaotic aftermath brings loss of life, property, or freedom, then those electorates should nullify the elections. We need to turn the federal government upside-down, not let them turn us upside-down. If we, the people, don't do something fast to take this country back, the federal government will be too strong to resist via elections. Perhaps it is time to put a third party in charge of things. Perhaps it is time to elect Libertarians into federal, state, and local positions. Please, please, please educate yourself on Libertarian economics (Austrian, i.e, read Ludwig von Mises, etc), educate yourself on current fiscal sustainability and how the federal reserve will be the ruin of us all, and educate yourself on how this country has become an empire, heading towards over-extension and inevitable military break-down. All empires have followed this same path, all to their eventual collapse. Please, please, please educate yourself, and vote Libertarian!
What a mess we are have on our hands. The only solution is to vote out incumbent/challenging republicans and democrats and elect Libertarians. We have new solutions. We have passionate candidates. We have the desire to make the government smaller, less intrusive, and stop the unbridled, wasteful spending of tax-payer money. You should read our platform and beliefs. Together, we can have a better Texas---if you have the courage!
Well, it's been interesting to see the results of the Republican primary for Texas Senate District 5, with Charles Schwertner soundly defeating Ben Bius. I know ahead of time that this district is largely Republican (and yes, I am grateful for that!), but I still wish to present the people another choice in November that is not the same two-parties that have nearly destroyed everything we hold as sacred and important in our lives. We the people simple need something better. I share Gary Johnson's (Libertarian Party nominee for President) in saying that the people should gives us a try. If after one term, things aren't better, you are encouraged to go and vote for more tyranny. We, the People, have just had enough of the business as usual. We want things to get done now! We don't want anymore bailouts, any more taxes, anymore wars, anymore economic ponzi schemes, and anymore executive branch-dictated mandates. Do something about it!! Its time to seriously question the status quo!
I would like to say thank you to the Libertarian Booster PAC for making this website for my campaign and also for sharing campaign materials with me.
It isn't difficult to notice the changes to American liberties these days. Security cameras seem to be everywhere, new acts are being approved in Washington that make it legal to detain Americans and even murder them, screening takes place at airports and even some sporting events, protesting against a government official is risky, attacks on the constitutional amendments are happening everyday, eminent domain gains greater power, the Fed, the IRS, the FBI and their warrants that don't require a judge's signature,----where does it end?
The truth is it won't end unless you and I do something about it. Civil disobedience is one course of action, writing to your representatives is another, and election time is another. This is your moment--make a difference! Don't let the propaganda fool you--there's too much at stake.
